The Pyroclassic Woodburner

The fire burns in a circular ceramic firebox, which can withstand temperatures much higher than a steel woodburner. The wood is burnt at temperatures between 800 and 1400 degrees Celsius, so that the wood and the smoke are burnt up completely. There is no creosote buildup in the flue and very little ash left in the firebox.

With a Pyroclassic IV you will use significantly less firewood because the ceramic firebox is also a heat store. When the fire is burning high, the heat will be stored in the ceramic instead of going out throuth the flue. Even long after the fire has died down the ceramic will continue to release warmth into the room.

A Pyroclassic can be installed with a wetback, it features a cooktop, and with accessories like the dutch oven, you can even bake and roast on it.

The Ministry for the environment lists the Pyroclassic IV with impressively low emission figures on its "List of tested woodburners", and the in the Consumer Institute July 2006 tests the Pyroclassic was the first recommendation in the two categories "freestanding woodburner" and "woodburner with wetback".
