Free Pellet Fire Flue's

Why a pellet fire?

Enjoy the ambience and warmth of a wood fire without the hassle of chopping and stacking wood with a pellet fire. Pellet fires burn wood pellets made from waste sawdust, the pellets are fed into the burn chamber automatically and there is no need to tend to the fire while it is burning.

Pellet fires are environmentally friendly, they have very low emission, produce a high heat out put and are easy to start, simply push the button and you will be enjoying the warmth at an affordable and manageable cost.

Pellet fires use a little bit of electricity to run the fans that blow warm air into the room and push exhaust fumes out the flue. During normal operation a pellet fire uses only about half the power of a conventional light bulb. A back up battery is available, so if the power goes out you stay warm. Try that with a heat pump!

How long does a bag of pellets last? What is the cost per day to run a pellet fire?

Pellet fuel takes up a third of the space of firewood and comes in convenient 15 kg bags. A typical household will use around 60 to 80 bags per winter or a 15kg bag of pellets will burn for approximately 15 hours of normal operation. On high 15kg will last between 10 and 12 hours, and on low it will last between 20 and 22 hours. All fires will hold a complete 15kg bag of pellets, with some holding over two bags in the hopper. A bag is around $10.
